I have already cut out mushrooms (until I can buy them loose) but I am not sure if I can do the same for pasta!
I love pasta! I probably eat it 3-4 times a week. The problem is it comes in plastic packaging. Yesterday we happened to be in a supermarket in a more affluent neighbourhood and I got excited about the pasta in cardboard boxes, but obviously the fancy stuff was being imported from Italy, so I am really unsure about which is better.

What about making your own pasta? The semolina flour sometimes comes in compostablr paper bags

Will definitely look into this, I was holding out on replying because I found a shop (10km away) where I saw non packaged pasta, but I made my return trip (with bags) yesterday, and realised that all the pasta has egg in it (which I am not eating unless I know the hens are only fed leftovers, unlikely in this case).

What about huge catering bags of pasta? Overall less packaging, no?
