Breakfast Out

Back before I was vegan it was much easier to eat out, there were plenty of options.
The city centre has got to fancy for just basic breakfasts (where you can pick out the veggie bits and just order them), all the restaurants serve complicated egg based dishes that can't be modified, so you are left with toast and jam or maybe not even that!
I tried to google vegan brunch places in Dublin but none of the suggested places open early enough, so now I just meet for coffee instead!
So again, you aren't trying to save money specifically, but you end up saving because there is nothing on the menu you want to eat!
Today's coffee €3.20

When I started this blog I was on quite a tight budget, I was on carers allowance and C was looking for work. Our monthly budget was €750 a month after rent.
Circumstances have changed now, but our lifestyle hasn't so we still live pretty cheaply and I've decided to continue the blog.

We were never really trying to be cheap, it was more that we found living sustainbly to work out cheaper.

This blog isn't about how to save money, more about reflections on how trying to be conscious has led to money savings for me.
