Cinema

Back in my disposible  living days I would at least double the cost of my cinema trip by buying popcorn, a drink, and maybe even maltesers. These days the temptation isn't even there to get these things so money is saved without even worrying about it with the added bonus that I never need to rush out of the cinema at the end to go to the loo!
We are going to the cinema this afternoon with a voucher we got for Christmas, taking Dublin Bikes, and as mentioned not getting any snacks so we still have this month's whole  €750 to play with!

When I started this blog I was on quite a tight budget, I was on carers allowance and C was looking for work. Our monthly budget was €750 a month after rent.
Circumstances have changed now, but our lifestyle hasn't so we still live pretty cheaply and I've decided to continue the blog.

We were never really trying to be cheap, it was more that we found living sustainbly to work out cheaper.

This blog isn't about how to save money, more about reflections on how trying to be conscious has led to money savings for me.
